Schneider VAMP 59 PowerLogic Line Differential Protection Relay

Schneider VAMP 59 PowerLogic Line Differential Protection Relay is designed for high-speed protection of overhead transmission lines and underground power cables in low- and medium-voltage networks. It uses phase-segregated current differential technology to detect internal faults quickly while maintaining stability during external faults and heavy load conditions.

The relay combines line differential protection with essential backup protection functions in a single unit, reducing the need for additional protection devices. Differential current measurements are exchanged through fibre-optic communication, allowing secure and reliable protection of transmission lines over long distances.

VAMP 59 also provides metering, control, event recording, and live system measurements. Its LCD display, programmable LEDs, single-line diagram mimic, and VAMPSET configuration software make operation and commissioning simple for engineers and maintenance personnel.
