Description

RET630 belongs to ABB’s Relion 630 series and combines transformer protection, control, measurement and supervision in one relay. Its main application is protection of two-winding power transformers, including step-up transformers and generator-transformer units. The relay can also handle transformer bay control from the same device.

Transformer differential protection is one of the main functions of RET630.
