Schneider Electric Easergy MiCOM P841 Multifunction Line Terminal Protection and Control IED

Schneider Electric Easergy MiCOM P841 Multifunction Line Terminal Protection and Control IED is designed for protection, control and monitoring of transmission and sub-transmission feeder bays. It combines backup protection, circuit breaker control, auto-reclose functions and bay management in a single intelligent electronic device, reducing the need for multiple standalone relays.

The MiCOM P841 is available in two models to suit different substation configurations. Model A is intended for single circuit breaker applications, while Model B supports dual breaker arrangements such as ring bus, mesh corner and breaker-and-a-half schemes. Both models provide flexible auto-reclose, synchronism check and circuit breaker failure protection for dependable feeder operation.

Built on the Easergy MiCOM platform, the relay supports IEC 61850 communication, programmable logic, event recording and SCADA integration. Its flexible configuration and extensive I/O capabilities make it suitable for modern digital substations as well as transmission system upgrades.
