Schneider Electric Easergy MiCOM P645 Numerical Transformer Protection Relay is designed to provide advanced protection, control and monitoring for large power transformers, autotransformers and other critical transformer installations. It combines high-speed transformer differential protection with comprehensive monitoring functions to help improve transformer reliability and reduce the risk of unexpected failures.

The MiCOM P645 offers fast response to internal transformer faults while maintaining stable operation during external faults. Along with differential protection, the relay includes restricted earth fault protection, thermal overload protection, overfluxing protection and backup overcurrent protection.
