Schneider Electric PowerLogic™ A3-S6P Arc Flash Protection Extension Unit

The Schneider Electric PowerLogic™ A3-S6P Arc Flash Protection Extension Unit is designed to expand the protection capability of the PowerLogic™ A3 arc flash protection system. It works together with the A3-F series main units, adding additional optical sensor inputs for larger switchgear assemblies where wider arc flash coverage is required.

The A3-S6P supports up to six optical arc sensors, allowing extra protection zones to be added without replacing the existing protection system. It communicates directly with the A3-F main unit through the dedicated system bus and receives its operating power through the same connection, simplifying installation and reducing wiring requirements.

Its compact design, flexible mounting options and straightforward rotary switch configuration make the A3-S6P suitable for both new projects and retrofit applications. It is widely used in low and medium-voltage switchgear where scalable arc flash protection is needed across multiple cubicles or panel sections.
