Schneider VAMP 300F Feeder Protection and Control Relay
Schneider VAMP 300F Feeder Protection and Control Relay is used for the protection, control and monitoring of medium-voltage feeders. It can be installed on incoming and outgoing feeders, overhead lines, underground cables and busbar-connected circuits in industrial plants, substations and power generation facilities.
The relay covers the protection functions normally required in a feeder panel, including phase overcurrent, earth fault, directional overcurrent, voltage, frequency and circuit-breaker failure protection. Depending on the selected configuration, VAMP 300F can also handle autoreclosing, synchrocheck, distance protection, line differential protection and arc flash protection.
Electrical measurements, breaker status, alarms and relay events can be viewed from the local display. After a trip, the stored fault values and disturbance records give the maintenance team useful information for checking what happened on the feeder.
The VAMP 300F belongs to Schneider Electric’s PowerLogic VAMP 300 range, which also includes separate models for motors, generators and transformers.
