Schneider VAMP 230 PowerLogic Feeder and Motor Protection Relay
Schneider VAMP 230 PowerLogic Feeder and Motor Protection Relay is a multifunction numerical relay designed to protect and manage low- and medium-voltage feeders, motors, and distribution systems. It combines protection, control, metering, and communication functions in a single device, making it suitable for industrial plants, utility substations, and OEM switchgear applications.
The relay supports both current- and voltage-based protection schemes, allowing it to be used in a wide range of power distribution networks. With five current inputs and three voltage inputs, VAMP 230 can perform directional overcurrent protection, voltage supervision, power measurement, and auto-reclose functions. It also records operating events and fault data, helping maintenance teams analyse disturbances and reduce downtime.
Built-in Ethernet communication with native IEC 61850 support allows the relay to integrate easily with SCADA and substation automation systems. Optional communication and expansion modules provide additional flexibility for different installation requirements.
