Schneider Electric PowerLogic™ P3L30 Line Differential Protection Relay

The Schneider Electric PowerLogic™ P3L30 Line Differential Protection Relay is designed to provide fast and dependable protection for medium and high-voltage transmission and distribution lines. It combines line differential protection, backup protection, monitoring and communication functions in a single numerical relay, making it suitable for utility substations, industrial power systems and critical infrastructure.

The relay continuously compares the current measured at both ends of the protected line. If an internal fault is detected, it isolates the affected section within milliseconds, helping minimise equipment damage and maintain system stability. It also provides backup protection against overloads, earth faults and other abnormal operating conditions, improving the overall reliability of the network.
