Schneider VAMP 210 PowerLogic Generator Protection Relay

Schneider VAMP 210 PowerLogic Generator Protection Relay is a numerical relay developed to protect small and medium-sized generators operating in industrial plants, captive power stations, and utility power systems. It combines generator protection, monitoring, control, and communication functions in a single relay, making it suitable for both new installations and retrofit projects.

The relay is designed for generators up to approximately 100 MW and provides dependable protection against electrical faults that can affect generator performance and reliability. It supports a wide range of earthing arrangements, including solidly earthed and high- or low-impedance grounded systems. The relay also offers detailed event recording and fault diagnostics, helping maintenance teams identify disturbances and restore service quickly.

With built-in Ethernet communication and native IEC 61850 support, VAMP 210 integrates easily with modern SCADA and substation automation systems. It can also be paired with the VAMP 265 relay to create a complete generator protection solution.
