Schneider Electric Easergy MiCOM P634 Numerical Transformer Differential Protection Relay is designed for fast and selective protection of transformers, generators, motors and other installations with up to four windings. It detects internal faults quickly while maintaining stability during transformer energization, over-fluxing conditions and external faults, helping protect valuable equipment and reduce unplanned outages.
The MiCOM P634 combines differential protection, monitoring and control functions in a single relay. It automatically compensates for transformer vector groups and current transformer ratios after the transformer data is entered, making commissioning faster and reducing manual calculations. The relay also supports virtual winding configuration for ring bus and breaker-and-a-half substations, giving engineers greater flexibility when designing complex protection schemes.
