Schneider VAMP 265 PowerLogic Differential Protection Relay

Schneider VAMP 265 PowerLogic Differential Protection Relay is a numerical relay designed to provide differential protection for generators, transformers, and motors in low- and medium-voltage power systems. It combines fast fault detection with dependable protection, making it suitable for industrial plants, utility substations, and power generation facilities.

The relay compares current entering and leaving the protected equipment to detect internal faults while maintaining high stability during external faults and heavy through-fault conditions. Features such as harmonic blocking, numerical CT ratio correction, and selectable transformer connection groups help improve protection accuracy and reduce unnecessary tripping.

VAMP 265 also includes backup overcurrent protection, event recording, disturbance recording, and built-in Ethernet communication with native IEC 61850 support. When generator protection is required, it can be used together with the VAMP 210 relay to provide a complete protection scheme.
