Schneider Electric Easergy MiCOM P544 Numerical Current Differential Protection Relay

Schneider Electric Easergy MiCOM P544 Numerical Current Differential Protection Relay is designed to provide fast and dependable protection for overhead transmission lines and underground cable systems. It combines high-speed current differential protection with integrated distance protection, making it suitable for high-voltage, extra-high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage transmission networks where secure and selective fault clearance is essential.

The MiCOM P544 continuously compares current measurements from both ends of the protected line to identify internal faults with excellent speed and accuracy. In addition to differential protection, it incorporates five-zone subcycle distance protection, directional earth fault protection, overcurrent protection and auto-reclose functions, providing comprehensive main and backup protection for transmission systems.
