Schneider TeSys Deca Thermal Overload Relays
Schneider TeSys Deca Thermal Overload Relays Suppliers, Exporters in India
Schneider TeSys Deca Thermal Overload Relays protect three-phase motors against overload, phase failure and current imbalance. The range covers motor currents from 0.1 to 150 A and motor ratings from 0.06 to 75 kW, depending on the selected relay and operating voltage. TeSys Deca overload relays were formerly sold under the TeSys LRD name, so both names are still commonly used in enquiries and replacement requirements.
The relay is normally mounted directly below a matching TeSys Deca contactor to form a compact motor starter. It can also be installed separately with a terminal block when the panel layout requires a different arrangement. The current setting is adjusted according to the motor full-load current, and the relay trips the contactor control circuit when an overload continues beyond the permitted time.
Manual and automatic reset options allow the relay to suit different machine operating requirements. Test, stop and reset controls are available on the front, while the transparent sealable cover helps prevent accidental changes to the current setting. Schneider offers Class 10A and Class 20 versions for standard and longer motor starting duties.
TeSys Deca thermal overload relays work with contactors and suitable circuit breakers or fuses. The overload relay handles motor overload and phase-loss protection; a separate short-circuit protection device is still required in the motor circuit.
