Schneider Electric PowerLogic™ MiCOM P114D Feeder Protection Relay combines feeder protection and directional earth fault protection in a compact numerical relay platform. Utilities and industrial facilities often install the P114D on distribution feeders where fault current can flow in different directions and standard overcurrent protection alone may not provide the required selectivity.

The relay monitors feeder conditions continuously and helps identify phase faults, earth faults, overload conditions, and abnormal current flow. Directional protection allows operators to locate and isolate faults more accurately, reducing the impact on healthy sections of the network.
