The UA75 3-pole contactor is designed specifically for capacitor switching applications. It is capable of handling the switching of capacitor banks with inrush current peaks up to 100 times the rated RMS current. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, capacitors must be properly discharged, with a maximum residual voltage at the terminals not exceeding 50 V before re-energization. When operated under these conditions, the contactor offers an electrical durability of up to 100,000 cycles. The permissible power ratings depend on the operational voltage and the ambient temperature near the contactor. Featuring a block-type design, the UA75 includes three main poles and an AC-operated control circuit with a laminated magnet system. A wide range of compatible accessories is also available to enhance functionality and adaptability.
