TEF4 frontal electronic timers are designed to provide precise timing functions and are available in both ON-delay and OFF-delay versions. They offer a space-saving solution within control cabinets compared to separate timing devices. These compact timers are front-mounted and securely latched onto AF contactors or NF contactor relays. A built-in mechanical indicator displays the status of the contactor for easy monitoring.
Wiring is simplified and cost-effective, as the TEF4 timers are powered directly via a plug-in parallel connection to the coil terminals A1 and A2 of the contactor or relay. Each timer includes an integrated varistor for built-in surge protection on the contactor coil.
Designed for a wide control voltage range of 24 to 240 V AC/DC, TEF4-ON and TEF4-OFF versions support time-delayed operations of up to 100 seconds across three selectable time ranges. Settings are configured via a mode selector and an adjustable rotary dial. The timing function activates automatically when the associated device is turned on or off, and the OFF-delay version operates without requiring an additional control power supply.
