The AF09 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, and are commonly used for managing 3-phase motors as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature an advanced electronic coil interface capable of accepting a wide control voltage range, minimizing the need for multiple coil variants. With just four coils, the AF series can cover control voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) or 20 to 500 V DC, allowing for exceptional flexibility and adaptability to global standards without requiring coil changes. The AF contactors also incorporate built-in surge protection, eliminating the need for external surge suppressors. Featuring a block-type 1-stack, 3-pole design, each contactor includes three main poles and one built-in auxiliary contact, with the option to add front or side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary blocks include mechanically linked contacts compliant with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1 and mirror contacts compliant with Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can be operated with either AC or DC, enhancing its versatility. A wide range of accessories is available to support different configurations and applications.
